Our youth activities promote our values and help build lifelong friendships.
Developing and promoting youth activities is an important part of our church. Here we will discuss what we are doing
to assist in the growth of our youth.
The church offers several wonderful group activities for our younger members. Some of
the more popular offerings and activities are:
- Junior High School Youth Groups for our clustered parish
- Faith Every Day (FED) High School Youth Ministry for our clustered parish

If you’ve never come to youth group before, now’s the perfect time to start! All high school students are invited to join us on Monday nights from 7-9 pm in the Fr. Wolber Activities Center at St. Genevieve. Come meet new friends and learn about God and our Catholic faith in a different and exciting way! Our meetings and events are planned and/or approved by a team of your peers and include prayer, social justice projects, ways to grow in faith, retreats, and topics relevant to teens such as dating, stress, and many others. Meet new people who are trying to live out their faith in a crazy world. (And there’s always food!)
| Our last meeting focused on the horrors of abortion and how teens can speak about the topic with their peers. While 11 from our group were protesting abortion at the March for Life in Washington DC, we were learning what we can do at home. Thank you to Brenda Underwood from the AAA Pregnancy Resource Center for coming to share her experiences with us! |
If you haven’t checked us out yet – no problem! All high school students are invited to join us for youth ministry meetings and events. Don’t worry if you can’t come every week, or if you have to come late – it’s all good! Bring a friend, and they don’t even have to be Catholic!

FOR OUR CLUSTERED PARISH
Our next Catholic Youth Trek event with other youth groups will be a HAWAIIAN LUAU AND MOVIE! All 7th & 8th graders are invited to join us at Divine Child Elementary School on Friday, February 3rd from 7p-10p to watch the movie “Soul Surfer” and have snacks and fun. Permission slip and $5 admission are due Wednesday, January 25th. Adult driver/chaperones are needed.
February snow brings us the Junior High Youth Group meeting. We’ll have fun with snow and while celebrating the warmth of friendships and Jesus’ love! Join us on Thursday, February 16th (the first night of winter break for some people!) from 7p-8:30p in the Activities Center. Information will come home through school and faith formation.
