Get Together

The St. Maurice Men’s Club invites the men from the St. Genevieve Ushers club and all parish men - to attend a Super bowl get together in the Social Hall on Sunday, February 5th starting at 5p. We will have hot dogs, chili, beverages and snacks for game time! If you are not a member of either club, please feel free to drop by and enjoy the game - it looks like it’ll be a great one!

YES, it’s almost Pasta Time. In just three weeks, the Men’s Club and the Women's Guild will host our Annual Pasta Dinner. Save the date, Sunday, February 12th. Get your friends and family together for this fun afternoon. The meal is “all you can eat” with pasta, macaroni and cheese, salad with assorted dressings, pie for dessert and beverages.
We will also have two raffles - one with adult prizes and one with children’s prizes. We will need some donations for these. If you have any unused gifts or bottles of wine please donate to our raffle. These items can be left at the Rectory, or call Jane at 734.425.2727.
Pre-sale tickets will be available after both Masses this weekend.
Evening for St. Genevieve (EFSG)

St. Vincent de Paul Society

February 4th - 5th
Once again FAITH EVERY DAY High School Youth Ministry will be collecting donations to support the Souper Bowl of Caring on Super Bowl Weekend. As millions of people enjoy snacks and fellowship while watching the Super Bowl football game, millions more go without even a bowl of soup to eat. Please bring some money to throw in our soup pots as you leave Mass next weekend. All money will be donated to St. Vincent de Paul to help feed the hungry in our community.
Thank you!

Every 4th Tuesday of the month at St. Genevieve Church.
The Knights of Columbus will be sponsoring an “Olive Garden” pasta dinner to raise funds for an Ultrasound machine for the AAA Pregnancy Resource Center located on Middlebelt Road near 6-Mile. The dinner will be held at 5:30p on Saturday, February 11th at St. Priscilla Church featuring four choices of pasta and sauces along with freshly baked garlic bread sticks and garden fresh salad all provided by our local Olive Garden Restaurant. Dessert is also included in the $10 / person price. There will be raffles for various gift certificates held at the dinner.
Tickets will be available after each of the Masses at St. Genevieve and St. Maurice on January 21st and 22nd and donations will also be accepted if you can’t make the dinner.
The AAA Pregnancy Resource Center is a Christ-centered ministry dedicated to the sanctity of human life. The ultra sound machine will be a life-saving instrument in their effort to save the most defenseless among us – the unborn child. The goal is to raise $15,000 with the K of C Supreme Council matching our funds to cover the $30,000 total cost of the machine.
Please join us on February 11th for the dinner or be generous with any donations you can make. Thank you.
